For some reason this really seems to be in the spirit of Pitti Uomo. The $21,000 Guinea Pig Armor set. Even space for a red corral pin. #hamsterwear

something about that NSM cuff was just too much for me. It looks so awkward I think. Like just an extra chunk of fabric

Turn-back cuffs are certainly an affectation. And on a lighter color fabric (like the W. Bill linen pictured here) they definitely stand out more. They are from a bygone era and I doubt you’d find much (if anything) featuring them off-the-rack today. I’d personally never wear them, especially with a summer suit, but to each his own I suppose.

I really posted the picture because I like the colors and textures at play. Turn-back cuffs and three-piece, double-breasted linen suits will likely never have a place in my wardrobe. Still, something a bit unexpected.
